Salt Lake Citeh!

I realized the other day that I haven’t posted Alexander Mcqueen’s last show yet.

It’s Genius and Regal and incredible. I love it.

We did some shopping and I scooped up new moccasins, some banana republic cardigans more flannel silly sunglasses and a new coach for spring courtesy of my Aunt Sally.

We went to the Italian and fish market to pick up some Scottish salmon today. This place is huuuuuuuuuge and has tons of scrumptious goodies to oggle.

Apparently they make there own cheese (in the cheese cave)…they have tons and tons! Wish I coulda taken home a big wheel of Gouda…

Also has a great bar.

Well kids I think it’s time for me to turn in for the night.

I would like you to meet Gus.

He feeds on attention.

Sorry I’ve been so busy lately…

Anybody seen the new Lacoste ads floating around? I think they’re my favorite so far.

The bicycle shot is my desktop…it’s a constant reminder that I need to buy a bicycle…

I finally bought a bottle of Burberry Brit and am super excited. It’s a nice light scent…Also scooped up some new nail polish the other day.

Prince charming by Orly.

I wanted some taupe polish like Chanel’s particuliere and I think I came pretty close. It reminds me of nestle hot chocolate powder.

I’ve been thinking a lot about weddings lately…how much work goes into them and how pretty they are…

So of course I made an inspiration board.

Hope everyone’s ready for spring break!! I know I am.

One of the projects I’ve been working on lately…finally finished it the other day.

Oil pastels smoothed out with turpentine.

I’m off to finish reading Ghandi’s Autobiography.

Weekend Wear.

It’s been a long weekend kids.

I went ice skating yesterday with some friends, it was Emma’s birthday!!

Although there were only a few falls (caused by tripping over other friends that had fallen and in my adorable friend Alyson’s case….checking out a passing boy and flipping her hair.. sadly my friend Nike dislocated her knee and tore a ligament…) Thanks to Jane I discovered Taro Gomi coloring books while at Barnes & Nobel today….my mom bought Squiggles while I went with Scribbles.

“The passengers are throwing confetti”

And what I wore the other day.

BCBG heels, the ring, Kenneth Cole watch, Nicole Lee bag, necklace from India,

F21 jeans and t, American Eagle jean shirt, Awesome military jacket.

So the other day while shopping for friends presents I saw this ring.

HUGE green amethyst with diamonds all around it on a silver band.

I’d seen the same ring somewhere else for an insane price tag and fell in love with it. This one happened to be at a lovely department store sitting on a sale rack.

Somehow scored it for practically nothing. I’m still in shock…

These shoes are size 6 narrow and KILL my feet. But the patent cap toe is just too cute to abandon.

Hope everyone’s weekend was better than mine.

Weekly Inspirtion Board #5

An inspiration board for the week.

Gossip Girl, Melrose Place, 90210 and Americas Next Top Model all started this week and I’m sooo excited.

Had my final drivers ed class tonight and passed my department of licensing written test!

It was supposed to snow today, which it didn’t. I laughed at first but I’m kind of sad….snow in March would be fun.

The pink heeled peeptoes were worn by a character in Melrose place they’re Zanotti.

As thrilling as the pink acrylic heel is the pair of Zanotti’s I would pick up would be this strappy little number right here.

I’m off to bed.

Today’s piece of furniture is the Bocco by Studio 65 (the lips sofa)

Birthday Bash.

My dearest readers let me first apologize for my untimely absence.

It’s been a little crazy lately especially this weekend. Early release Thursday, no school Friday, and then a late start Monday.

This weekend was filled with nothing, nuh-thing but partying (birthday partying in particular). So I think it’s appropriate that today happens to be the blogs 1st Birthday!

A big thanks to everyone reading.

Today was super sunny, a little brisk but sunshiny goodness none the less.

Kenneth Cole vinyl jacket and sweater, Raybans, Nina heels, Random pearl necklace, and a childs skirt from target

While on a trip to Portland we ran into this fabric store we’ve driven by for years and have meant to go in it but we just kept forgetting.

It’s called the whole 9 yards.

There we met Gussy an adorable rottweiler/german shepherd mix who was very snoozy.

We also came across a section of adorable childrens fabric.

The little robots killed me man. I wanted to buy it all but had no clue what I’d make out of it.

After a silly stroll through our new go-to fabric store we ate lunch at East Burn right down the street.

The roasted palentas here are insane they’re soooo good. and filling.

Mom ordered some white bean soup while I went with a voagie and a salad (their champagne vinaigrette is delicious!)

We also hit up this awesome cement place on Burnside.

If only the little baja sign could have come home with us..We met another dog named Rosy and she is from Mexico.

She was sooo soft.

I hope everyone had a good Monday, I’m off to tennis practice.
